The Swedish producer and dance act Basshunter faces sex charges in Scotland. Two women have reported the 25 year old Jonas Altberg, which is his real name. His manager Henrik Uhlmann says that the allegations are completely false, in a comment in the news daily to Aftonbladet.

The English version of “Boten Anna” – “Now You’re Gone – managed to reach the No.1 spot in the UK in 2007. The track was followed by “All I Ever Wanted,” which translates “Vi sitter i Ventrilo och spelar DotA” in its original. Basshunter’s last song to chart was “Saturday,” a track that samples Reel 2 Real’s 1995 hit “I Like to Move It.” The track peaked at No.21 and was never released in Sweden. It was, however, issued on the US market but failed to chart there. Earlier this year, Basshunter was a contestant on the final series of Celebrity Big Brother in the UK, ending up at fourth place.
