Depeche Mode Collaborates with Stargate on Remix Album

CHART SPOTLIGHT. Remember June 6th. Not since it’s the Sweden’s National Day, but the return of Depeche Mode. Remixes 2: 81-11 features a brand new remix of the group’s 1989 hit “Personal Jesus.” The multi-talented Norwegian Stargate album safely takes “Personal Jesus” to another level and it’s amazing that these are the same guys who produced Ne-Yo’s “So Sick” and Rihanna’s “What’s My Name?”

Throughout the years, the track has been covered by both Johnny Cash and Marilyn Manson. Dubbed as “Personal Jesus ’11,” this will be the first single off the remix album. Other contributors includes Eric Prydz (“Never Let Me Down Again”), Röyksopp (“Puppets”) and Jacques Lu Cont (“A Pain That I’m Used To”).
