‘It Girl’ is the latest single off Jason Derülo’s sophomore set.
CHART SPOTLIGHT. ‘It Girl’ follows ‘Don’t Wanna Go Home’ as the second single off Jason Derülo’s sophomore set Future History. The mid-tempo pop and r’n’b hit features a whistling intro. The singer got his breakthrough in 2009 with ‘Whatcha Say,’ which amassed more than 5m digital downloads in the US alone.
His last hit ‘Don’t Wanna Go Home’ sampled the Robin S. hit ‘Show Me Love’ and lent its intro from Harry Belafonte’s ‘Day-O (The Banana Boat Song.’
