CHART REFLECTION. This WelcheMusic musical rendezvous takes us to 1997 and the soundtrack to Quentin Tarantino’s Jackie Brown. Hot on the heels of Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction, Tarantino returned with a movie that got just as much appreciation for its soundtrack as its many stars. Featuring cinema’s first female action star Pam Grier as Jackie Brown, the soundtrack was filled with music from the likes of Bobby Womack, Bill Withers and the Delfonics.

CHART SPOTLIGHT. Last night, Danny Saucedo gave out Swedish points in the Eurovision Song Contest. The singer, who was the runner-up in the Swedish Melodifestivalen is on his way to get his breakthrough in the UK this summer. As reported by the fantastic music blog Scandipop, his debut single will be a new version of his 2007 hit “If Only You.”
