Don’t be surprised if a Robert John “Mutt” Lange track ends up as Sweden’s entry in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. Famous for legendary hits such as ‘All I Wanna Do Is Make Love to You,’ ‘You’re Still the One’ and ‘(Everything I Do) I Do It for You,’ Lange is testing new waters. The song-writer has penned FO&O’s boyband-esque track ‘Gotta Thing About You’ together with Tony Nilsson.
The Persian Prince of Pop Arash, teams up with the American super star Snoop Dogg on the new collaboration ‘OMG.’ In 2009, Arash came third in the Eurovision Song Contest.
Måns Zelmerlöw performed his latest single at the Eurovision stage at the Stockholm Globe Arena. ‘Fire in the Rain’ was released in early May and bowed at No.85 the day before the ESC finals. The following week (chart dated May 20th), it climbs 85-50 thus securing Zelmerlöw’s 11th top 50 hit in Sweden.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic initiated Sweden’s official Euro 2016 song ‘Mitt team’ with Frej Larsson and Joy. Issued on Friday (20th May), the track is written and produced by Max Martin, Shellback and Oscar Hollter. It goes neck-to-neck with previous Melodifestivalen presenter Robin Paulsson’s ‘Abzolut.’
