CHART SPOTLIGHT. ‘Future Trance 57’ is the latest trance installment with hot new tracks. Containing new versions of Brooklyn Bounce’s ‘The Music’ Got Me,’ covers of ‘Bring Me to Life,’ ‘Hold It Against Me’ and ‘Take Me to the Limit’ it also features the original hits from Avicii, Kate Ryan, LMFAO and Swedish House Mafia. This compilation definitely blends with a house party or an aerobic class!
CHART SPOTLIGHT. Sure, it was the clash between Leona Lewis and producer Avicii. Let’s forget about it for a minute and focus on the brilliant Afrojack Remix of ‘Collide.’ Scheduled for release in September, this marks the return of Leona Lewis who hasn’t issued a hit single since 2010’s ‘I Got You.’
The track is written by Autumn Rowe who also penned the current hit by Cher Lloyd (‘Swagger Jagger’). Produced by French Sandy Vee, the track premiered on The Scott Mills Show in mid-July. Back to the feud with Avicii, his record label Ministry of Sound claimed that Leona Lewis’ use of a sample was unauthorized. Lewis’ label Syco ciaims, however, that he is properly credited.
