We’re Swedes and we’re so proud of Robyn who rocked U.S. living rooms in Saturday Night Live this weekend. According to Aftonbladet, my favorite author Bret Easton Ellis loved the performance. On Saturday, Robyn performed ‘Call Your Girlfriend’ and ‘Dancing on My Own’ in the show. Host of the night was Katy Perry, whom Robyn toured with.

Bret Easton Ellis tweeted that Robyn probably was the best artist of this season and confessed that he’s listened to the singer’s Body Talk album for a year.

Will George Michael’s True Faith Bring Him Back to the Charts

CHART SPOTLIGHT. In 1987, New Order got a huge hit with “True Faith.” Expect the song to return to the charts in short as this will be George Michael’s next single. Although not an official choice, Michael has decided to donate the proceeds to Comic Relief.

A WelcheMusic favourite, the New Order original was produced by legendary Stephen Hague. It was issued on two different 12-inch vinyls including remixes from Shep Pettibone. The original peaked at No.4 in 1987 and New Order re-visited the charts in 1994 when a Perfecto remix made it to No.9. The track has been frequently used in films, including a nightclub scene in Mary Harron’s adaptation of American Psycho (by Bret Easton Ellis). It has also been included in Brights Lights, Big City and the US version of Queer as Folks. It was also featured in the season finale of The Vampire Diaries. “True Faith” was followed by “Touched By the Hand of God” which made it to No.20 in the UK.
