Måns Zelmerlöw’s Fire in the Rain Cracks Swedish Top 50

Måns Zelmerlöw performed his latest single at the Eurovision stage at the Stockholm Globe Arena. ‘Fire in the Rain’ was released in early May and bowed at No.85 the day before the ESC finals. The following week (chart dated May 20th), it climbs 85-50 thus securing Zelmerlöw’s 11th top 50 hit in Sweden.

The singer has so far placed two No.1s on the chart – ‘Cara Mia’ in 2007 in addition to last year’s Eurovision winner ‘Heroes.’ Another Melodifestivalen entry, ‘Hope & Glory’ peaked at No.2.

As a TV host, Måns Zelmerlöw was praised for his French. One of his singles ‘Should’ve gone home’ was also introduced in a French version as ‘Je ne suis qu’un homme.’

On the daily Spotify streaming tally for Sweden, ‘Fire in the Rain’ has reached No.35, currently at No.41 and on its way up (daily chart dated 21/5). It has so far racked more than 1.5m streams on Spotify.
