According to Music Week, the singer will issue the new album Michael on Dec.14. This marks the first album with new material, since the singer’s death in 2009.

This March, Michael Jackson’s record label Sony Music signed a deal with the singer’s estate. To date, one album has been issued – This Is It, which sold 5m copies worldwide. The lead single failed to make any impact on the worldwide charts, to date it has only made the top five in Japan. The track peaked at No.18 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Charts.

Michael will include the song “Breaking News,” which was recorded in New Jersey back in 2007. That track is already available on The set was produced by Akon, RedOne and amongst others.

Perhaps, some of the new tracks will appear in the new Cirque du Soleil show Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour. The first leg of the North American tour opens Oct.2 in Montreal, Canada.

To date, Michael Jackson’s Thriller remains the best-selling album of all times with approximately 110 millions copies old worldwide. Released in November 1982, the set spawned seven hit singles.

Ke$ha’s New Single Debuts at No.1 in the US

Ke$ha manages to vault into the pole position of the Billboard Hot 100 this week with “We R Who We R.” The track is the first single off the upcoming Cannibal EP, which is slated for release on Nov.22. The singer made her first appearance on Flo Rida’s “Right Round,” a world-wide chart-topper back in 2009. Her solo debut was “Tik Tok,” included on her album Animal. The set spawned several an additional three Billboard Hot 100 top ten hits. “We R Who We R” has already managed to reach No.2 in Canada, No.4 on New Zealand and No.32 in Ireland.

As part of an exclusive countdown to the Cannibal release, “Sleazy” was made available in Australia and the US via iTunes.

Rihanna+Eminem Unfolds 2nd Part of “Love the Way You Lie”

Rihanna and Eminem reunites in the follow-up to “Love the Way You Lie.” Adding part two to the title, the single precedes Rihanna’s new album Loud, which is scheduled for release on Nov.18th. Both artists have issued follow-up singles to “Lie.” As WelcheMusic previously reported, Eminem reached No.23 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “No Love” – a track sampling Haddaway’s “What Is Love,” with Lil Wayne as a guest. Rihanna currently sits at No.4 on the Hot 100 with “Only Girl (In the World).”

Loud will be Rihanna’s fifth studio album since the debut in 2005. Then 17 year old singer debuted with “Pon de replay,” which made it to No.5 in Sweden and No.2 in the US and the UK. Born on Barbados, Rihanna  was signed by Jay-Z on Def Jam Recordings. In 2009, she was featured on Jay-Z’s “Run This Town.”

Will Susan Boyle Succeed Britney on Glee?

Britney Spears managed to draw 13.3 million viewers to the Glee homage episode. Rumors say that Susan Boyle is scheduled to appear this December. The Scottish sensation will release her second album, The Gift, on Nov.8 and will have a 1960s feel since it’s her era. No single has been released as yet, but already Boyle has appeared on Oprah Winfrey’s talk show. Glee has already attracted guest stars as Javier Bardem and Gwyneth Paltrow to appear on the show.
