All five tracks off the set have charted on the South Korean Gaon singles chart, with the title track “Hoot” leading the pack peaking at No.1. The group made a teaser video parodying James Bond’s gun barrel sequence, sampling the Monty Norman and John Barry score. The Pussycat Dolls’ Rino Nakasone Razalan choreographed the song.

Girls’ Generation’s “Oh” topped the 2010 year-end-tally at Korean music download site Monkey 3. Results were based on both downloads and streaming in combination with online voting. The music site Hanteo also awarded the band the 2010 Singer Award.
