The Utøya massacre “is nothing” compared to the number of animals who are killed and eaten daily. During the concert he compared the mass murder to McDonald’s or Kentucky Fried Chicken ahead of his performance of “Meat Is Murder.”

Morrissey recently played at the Hultsfreds festival, he didn’t allow any meat to be sold during his appearance that night. At the recent Polish gig, a new song was introduced – “Scandinavia” with lyrics saying “I despise each syllable in Scandinavia. Let the people burn, let their children cry and die in blind asylum.”

Née Steven Patrick Morrissey, the singer reigns from Manchester, UK. He got his breakthrough in the ‘80s with The Smiths. Morrissey is currently not signed to any record label, and chances did not improve following the recent incident. According to Telegraph, fans expressed their anger at his comments online. One fan wrote: “The killing of children compared to KFC & McDonald’s?!!! What an ——-!,” while another said: “I really don’t know if that is forgivable? Or of any use to the vegetarian cause?”
