Katy Perry’s U.S. Hot Shot Debut “Teenage Dream”

This week, Katy Perry returns to the Billboard Hot 100 with the title track of the upcoming album Teenage Dream. The set is slated for release this August and the first single, “California Gurls,” has already topped the European Hot 100 Singles chart, Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart. “Teenage Dream” is a reflection of Perry’s teenage love.

Philip Philips Earns a Canadian iTunes No.1

This year’s American Idol winner Philip Philips earns a No.1 position on the current Canadian iTunes Store chart (upd. 5/27). Officially released as a download on May 23, it is set to bow on the Billboard Hot 100 in its next edition.
