Ne-Yo Comes to Sweden in February


CHART SPOTLIGHT. WelcheMusic brings you great news at the start of the year. Ne-Yo will perform at the Baltic Hall in Malmö, Sweden, on Feb.25th. This will be his first performance ever in this country. Throughout the ’00s, Ne-Yo has had phenomonal success as both a song-writer and artist. His debut album In My Own Words was released in early 2006, including his first hit “So Sick.” As a song-writer, he has written tracks such as “Unfaithful” and “Take a Bow.” Last year, he was featured on Keri Hilson’s world-wide hit “Knock You Down.”

UPDATED: Ne-Yo had a hugely succesful 2010 thanks to the release of Libra Scale in November. The set spawned four singles, including the “Beautiful Monster”which topped the UK singles tally as well as the US dance chart. Ne-Yo succeeded boy band The Wanted’s “All Time Low.” Ne-Yo’s follow-up single “Champagne Life” only managed to reach No.75 on the Billboard Hot 100.
