Foo Fighters Vaults into No.1

CHART SPOTLIGHT. Foo Fighters replaces Glasvegas atop the Swedish album chart with the new offering Wasting Light. Backed up by a recent performance in Stockholm, it’s the second time the group scores a No.1 in this country. Back in 2005, In Your Honor topped the tally.

Apart from the Greatest Hits compilation in 2009, the group hasn’t charted with new material since Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace (2007). Despite being American, the group is still to achieve a Billboard 200 No.1. In Your Honor managed to peak at No.2, while the new set is yet to chart.
