CHART SPOTLIGHT. She’s back and “Run the World (Girls)” debuts at No.18 on Sunday’s UK singles chart. Beyoncé hasn’t charted (in the UK) since “Video Phone” peaked at No.58 in November 2009. The track was well received since its debut on radio last Thursday.
“Run the World (Girls)” samples Major Lazer’s “Pon De Floor” and is produced by Switch, Beyoncé and Shea Taylor.
Depeche Mode Collaborates with Stargate
The track will headline a forthcoming release this June. Beyoncé has split professionally from her father as her manager.
WelcheMusic is still disappointed that “Broken-Hearted Girl” wasn’t given more promotional push – the excellent ballad from I Am…Sasha Fierce.
