Collectif Métissé versus Dr. Alban Heat Up French Clubs

CHART SPOTLIGHT. The French group Collectif Métissé certainly knows how to turn up the heat on the dancefloors this summer. “Laisse tomber tes problems” (Forget your problems) is currently racing the French singles chart and euro pop wizards can immediately spot the sample.

The track borrows heavily from Dr. Alban’s 1993 hit “Sing Hallelujah,” which peaked at No.7 in France that year. It charted across Europe, reaching its best peak in Switzerland and Germany (No.4). Dr. Alban re-recorded the song back in 2005 together with Yamboo.
