Download vol.2 of the WelcheMusic Compilation Playlist

It’s time for the second volume of the WelcheMusic compilation with up-coming hits. Many of the artists on the compilation have already gained exposure on the blog. Cheryl Cole’s duet with will.i.am, “3 Words,” is finally available in Sweden. Look out for Scottish rock act Biffy Clyro’s Radio 1 playlist hit “Many of Horror” that deserves lots of listenings. Also, Simian Mobile Disco has recorded the track Janet Jackson never got her hands of – “Cruel Intentions.”  The Temper Trap is also back with the follow-up to last year’s hit “Sweet Disposition.” Don’t miss it! As a bonus, we’ve added Mad Muzik’s rendition of the Mad Men Theme as well as the Jason Nevin Club Mix of Iyaz “Replay.” Please also read the posts about Jay Sean, Muse and Black Eyed Peas.

The Track that Black Eyed Peas Don’t Want Europeans to Download

“Imma Be” is the track that the Black Eyed Peas want to spare Europeans. Although it has been chosen as the fourth single in the States, “Rock That Body” will be the fourth single worldwide. The track was actually issued as the first promo single for The E.N.D. album. Even though it was released in December, it has only managed to reach No.46 on the Billboard hot 100. The Black Eyed Peas made their comeback in June last year, immediately scoring back-to-back No.1’s with “Boom Boom Pow” and “I Gotta Feeling.” “Meet Me Halfway” recently topped the UK singles charts. We will need to wait until Mar.1 to when “Rock That Body” is offically released. We’ve, however, included “Imma Be” on the WelcheMusic vol.2 compilation out later.

Muse Will Issue Title Track As Next Single

English alternative rock band Muse released their fifth studio album The Resistance back in September last year. The first single, “Uprising,” instantly became a worldwide hit and was used as the soundtrack to the promo trailers to ABC’s V series. The track was also covered by The Veronicas in BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge. The second single “Undisclosed Desires”  came in November and will be followed by the title track “The Resistance,” scheduled for February release. Make sure to listen to it on the WelcheMusic vol.2 compilation out soon.

Do You Remember Him?

2009 was definitely the year Jay Sean broke. “Down” was a Billboard Hot 100 No.1, reaching and No.3 on the UK singles chart. Jay Sean is actually British, although the hit features rapper Lil Wayne as a guest. The BBC called him “the most succesful male U.K. urban artist in U.S. chart history.” He’s on his way to repeat this success with the follow-up track “Do You Remember.” It has already reached the top ten in the US, making waves in here now. The track features Sean Paul and Lil Jon. The track will be included on the WelcheMusic vol.2 compilation which will be issued later on.
