Norwegian Margaret Berger’s I Feed You My Love Set for Eurovision Song Contest Success

The 27-year old singer Margaret Berger won the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix last night with the euphoric ‘I Feed You My Love.’ The track will compete in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden.

Azealia Banks on the Verge of Success in Europe with 212

‘212’ might be the breakthrough, Azealia Banks deserves. I just discovered this track as it’s currently B listed on BBC Radio 1. Initially released last December, it has taken awhile to grow its fanbase in Europe. The track appeared on Pitchfork’s Top 100 Tracks of 2011 ahead of the likes of Kanye West, Jay-Z and Adele.

Glee Powers The Wanted’s Glad You Came into the Billboard Top 5

The Wanted’s ‘Glad You Came’ takes a giant leap from 23 to 5 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100, the highest peak ever for a UK boy band thanks to the recent Glee performance. I first wrote about The Wanted in the blog post Boy Bands Return with a Vengeance as the UK Welcomes The Wanted in August 2010. Back then, I was convinced that master producer Steve Mac would succeed in putting yet another boy band on the map. I also wrote about ‘Glad You Came’ upon its release last July.
