There is a great chance that the new-found success of Example will open the doors to an international breakthrough. “Change the Way You Kiss Me” performed very well on yesterday’s UK singles tally, selling 115,046 copies last week. It’s the highest tally for a number one for 10 weeks and the first single off Examples third album according to Music Week. Knocking Pitbull, Ne-Yo, Afrojack & Nayer off the No.1 spot, this is Example’s first ever UK No.1.

CHART REWIND. Time to take a trip down memory lane. In February 2000, “Pure Shores” was released as the first single off the All Saints sophomore set Saints & Sinners. The track was produced by William Orbit, who recently had worked with Madonna.

Fingers Crossed that Love Generation Remains in the Competition

According to Sweden’s largest news daily Aftonbladet, pop group Love Generation might get disqualified in this year’s Melodifestivalen which leads up to the Eurovision Song Contest. Late last night, the entry “Dance Alone” leaked online. A 30 second preview was available on Amazon in the UK. The song was written by top producer RedOne of Lady Gaga fame.

T.I. Brings No Mercy to the Charts

T.I. is back on the Billboard album chart with No Mercy. It includes the WelcheMusic favourite “Castle Walls” featuring Christina Aguilera.
