CHART SPOTLIGHT. You’ve probably noticed by now how WelcheMusic proudly supports our Nordic producers Max Martin, RedOne, Shellback and StarGate. Per a recent article in Billboard, it’s clear that Norwegian StarGate has been so successful over the years and “S&M” with Rihanna could very well become their ninth Hot 100 hit.

So far, the team has scored the following No.1 hits in the US:

Rihanna – Rude Boy (2010)
Rihanna – Only Girl (In the World) (2010)
Rihanna – What’s My Name (2010)
Katy Perry – Firework (2010)
Wiz Khalifa – Black and Yellow (2011)
Ne-Yo – So Sick (2006)
Beyoncé – Irreplacable (2006)
Rihanna – Take a Bow (2008)

Look out for Jennifer Lopez next single with Lil’ Wayne – “I’m Into You” might also do the trick and become a No.1 for the production team. They’re also working on material with JoJo, Kelly Rowland and have produced Blue’s “I Can” which will compete in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest for the UK.
