Katy Perry Gives E.T. the Remix Treatment

The fourth single off Katy Perry’s album Teenage Dream gets the full remix treatment as a slew of remixes of “E.T.” debuts on Spotify. Released a single in mid-February, the single version features Kanye West as a guest rapper. The track is produced by Dr. Luke, Ammo and Max Martin.

Rihanna Goes NBA with Drake

Rihanna celebrated her 23rd birthday performing at the halftime show at the NBA All-Star Game. According to Billboard, Drake worked “happy birthday” into the lyrics of their massive hit “What’s My Name?”. Rihanna performed several tracks, including “Only Girl” and “Umbrella.”

Lady Gaga Destined for US No.1

Lady Gaga is set to top the Hot 100 tomorrow, making it the 1,000th No.1 single in the History of the chart. “Born This Way” is also the title off her third studio album, which is scheduled for release on May 23. Sources say that “Born This Way,” which has been compared to Madonna’s “Express Yourself,” sold more than 450,000 downloads within its first three days of release since Friday 11th March. WelcheMusic expects the track to make a high debut on the Swedish chart later this week.
